"Walking an Ancient Path" with guest
Priestess Rev. Karen Tate In her presentation to our spiritual
community, Rev. Karen Tate, a respected author, teacher and
ritualist — and longtime supporter of The TEMPLE — talks about being
called to serve Goddess and why she believes mainstreaming Goddess
within today's culture is one of the most important things we can
accomplish as women. This includes being supportive of each other,
giving each other a lift up, not falling into the patriarchal trap
of denigrating each other. FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE

Dan Brown's bestseller, The DaVinci Code, piqued the curiosity of
millions as he opened a Pandora's Box of questions, telling what
scholars have known for ages, but what many in power would rather
stay swept under the rug. What is the Sacred Feminine? How might our
world be different had the feminine face of god not been swept from
her place on the world stage? Who are the new Goddess Advocates
suggesting we restore the ideals of Goddess? What do they believe,
and what would that mean for women, men and Mother Earth? Rev. Karen
Tate, an independent scholar, published author, ordained minister,
lecturer and sacred tour organizer, with itineraries that circle the
globe, tantalizes the imagination with new ideas and suggestions for
re-birthing Goddess into mainstream society.

Priestessing Goddess Onto the World Stage
We are the Heralds of Her Coming
Goddess Temple in Orange County
Who among us isn’t tired of turning on the television or radio
and hearing how fear, greed and abuse of power is sending our world
spiraling out of control? Who is not ashamed to read the paper and
see what passes for the norm these days? Are there others out
there tired of our leaders failing us and being part of the problem
as they are immersed in scandals, lies, and corruption? Where are
the guideposts and benchmarks that help us steer a healthy course?
Aren’t you tired of waiting for a voice to emerge from the abyss
to be our guiding light? As women, life-givers and nurturers, we
are the future of the world and we must step up, empower ourselves
and claim our voices now.
Everything old is new again. Come hear the tipping points in
history that led us down this path, but more important, let us rally
as priestesses, let us remember herstory and vision how embracing
She of Ten Thousand Names can be a catalyst to make positive change. Whether you embrace Goddess as
deity or ideal, as archetype or metaphor, the Sacred Feminine,
restored to her rightful throne, is one answer, one method, one
vehicle that might change the face of the world. And we must herald
her coming.....

A Soiree in Tribute to Isis and the Community She Inspires....
Introducing Walking An Ancient Path: Rebirthing Goddess on Planet
Earth by Karen Tate
An evening of entertainment and inspiration....
This is a book intended to introduce the Divine Feminine to a
mainstream world, explaining how Goddess is relevant to today's
complicated and often violent world. Equally important, it a
reflection of a contemporary community that so loves Goddess and the
hope She represents for a better world that they never cease in
their devotion and dedication to restore Her to the center of our
world. This book stands as a testament to this community, like so
many others, representative of Her reciprocity, creativity,
abundance, dedication, and love. So many of the experiences and
information compiled in Walking An Ancient Path are about the power
of prayer, faith and receiving Divine inspiration.
So many of you have been a thread in the sacred tapestry that is the
Goddess community around Los Angeles that has inspired this book.
You are an interconnected strand in the web that continues to make
herstory. Whether you have been a part of this specific community
of Isis devotees or not, it matters not. We are but one community
of many such communities. You are warmly welcome. Please join
together with us in community to revel in our deeds that stand as a
testament to all of us walking an ancient path. Come enjoy this
soiree in tribute to Isis. Come in community spirit and gratitude.
Come bear witness to our past, present and future as we rebirth
Goddess into the world.
Enjoy the entertainment and flashes of the past presented from
archival video footage, a visual montage of Isis beach rituals,
video clips and inspirational readings. Come together again as we
have done so often before providing the container for the
restoration of Her essence and ideals. I hope you will be able to
come and reminisce - and hopefully be inspired!
Lite refreshments provided.
Open to women and men and well-behaved children.
Author will sign books after the entertainment and presentations.
